HOW IT WORKS

Unlike many online services, there’s no “Buy Now” button on my site. I believe that every pet portrait deserves a personal touch and that starts with clear communication. I want to ensure you know exactly what you’re getting before any payment is made.

The Process

Simply choose the style you’d like—whether it’s watercolour, or charcoal—and send in your favourite photo of your pet. Once the design direction (size and medium) is confirmed, I’ll begin work on the draft. Once you have approved the draft I’ll start work on the real thing. Usually, I will complete the portraits within 2 weeks, I will let you know if there is a reason it will take longer.

Payment

After you’ve confirmed the details of your portrait, I will send an invoice and you can easily make a secure payment through bank transfer. A deposit of 30% will be required once you are happy with the draft, with the full balance due upon completion. I’ll provide clear payment instructions to make the process simple and stress-free.

The Photo

The magic of your pet’s portrait comes from a clear, well-lit photo that shows off your pet’s character. Ideally, the photo should capture your pet’s face and any unique features. Don’t worry—if you’re unsure about which photo to choose, I can help guide you to the perfect choice.

Delivery

Once your portrait is complete, I’ll carefully package and ship the artwork to your address, ensuring it arrives safely. I’ll provide you with the tracking number. Delivery is included in the price (if you are from New Zealand or Australia), estimated delivery times can vary but expect delays nearer to Christmas. I will also take a video of the process, which I can share with you if you are interested.
